1) Definitions

  • “We”, “us”, “our” means Fran Massage Therapist operating in Forest Gate, London (UK).

  • “You”, “your” means the client receiving the treatment.

  • “Treatment” means any massage/service booked with us.

  • “Booking Platform” means Calendly.

2) Bookings

  1. All appointments are scheduled via Calendly.

  2. You must provide accurate contact details (name, email, phone) so we can confirm or contact you regarding your appointment.

  3. If you book multiple appointments or for another person, you confirm you have their permission to provide their details.

3) Payment

  1. Payments are taken in person at the appointment (no online payments at this time).

  2. We accept: [CARD / CASH / BANK TRANSFER] (choose what applies).

  3. Prices shown on the Site/Calendly are in GBP (£) unless stated otherwise.

  4. If a cancellation fee/no-show fee applies (see section 5), you agree to pay that fee via [card payment / bank transfer / payment link].

4) Consultation & suitability

  1. You may be asked to complete a short consultation form prior to treatment.

  2. You must disclose relevant injuries, medical conditions, recent surgery, allergies, pregnancy, or medications that may affect your treatment.

  3. We may refuse, modify, or stop a treatment if we believe it may be unsafe or inappropriate.

5) Cancellations & rescheduling

To protect therapist time, the following applies:

  • A deposit of [£19] may be required to secure a booking.

  • 24+ hours’ notice: deposit refunded or transferred.

  • Less than 24 hours: deposit retained.

  • Less than 1 hour / no-show: full treatment price may be charged.

 

6) Late arrivals

  1. Please arrive 5–10 minutes early.

  2. If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to avoid impacting the next client.

  3. Late arrivals may still be charged the full session price.

  4. Arriving more than [15 minutes / half of the treatment time] late may be treated as a no-show.

7) Health, pregnancy & post-surgery

  1. Pregnancy: We only provide pregnancy massage for clients in the [2nd and 3rd trimester] (edit if needed).

  2. Post-surgery: Treatments should only take place after a safe recovery period (commonly 6–8 weeks), subject to your medical guidance. We may request written confirmation from a healthcare professional where appropriate.

  3. We are not responsible for outcomes where relevant information was not disclosed prior to the treatment.

8) Under 18s (Minors)

  1. Clients under 18 must have prior consent from a parent/guardian.

  2. We reserve the right to decline treatment for minors where appropriate.

9) Conduct, safety & right to refuse

  1. We operate a zero-tolerance policy for abusive, threatening, discriminatory, aggressive, sexual or inappropriate behaviour.

  2. We may refuse or stop a treatment immediately if you are intoxicated or we suspect the use of illegal drugs.

  3. We provide professional massage services only.

10) Personal belongings

You are responsible for your personal items. We are not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings brought to the premises, except where caused by our negligence.

11) Liability

  1. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

  2. Subject to the above, our liability is limited to the price paid for the treatment in question, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

13) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales (subject to mandatory consumer rights).
